Hey penguins!
As you must have noticed, Club Penguin's 2011 Halloween Party has begun! As with last year's Halloween Party, there is a Scavenger Hunt. I threw together this little guide for the Scavenger Hunt, in case any of you are slightly confused.
First of all, log onto Club Penguin. Once you are logged into a server, look at the top right corner of your screen. You should see a book that looks like this.
Now, click on that book.
So, this year, it looks like penguins have to find and catch "Candy Ghosts." As you can see by the riddle on the right page, it says, "Search near sand and surf." What's one place with sand AND surfing? The Cove! So head on over to the Cove. Next, click on the pile of green candy.
A red ghost should appear. Click on the red ghost and this should pop up:
One ghost down, seven to go! The next clue reads, "Head to a spooky house." A spooky house? Sounds like a sort of haunted house to me. And luckily enough, Club Penguin has brought back the Haunted House this year! So head to the Forest and go through the Haunted House entrance.
Next, find the pile of candy and click on it. A green ghost that looks like this should show up.
Click on the ghost and this should appear.
Two candy ghosts down. Sweet! The next clue reads, "Make your way to a wooden shack." There's only one shack I know of on Club Penguin. The Mine Shack! Head over to the Mine Shack and click on the pile of candy by the large tree. A ghost that looks like this should appear.
Click on that ghost and your book should open up looking like this:
Three ghosts down, almost halfway there! The next clue is to find a popular spot for Tour Guides. Well, let's think. Where do you go to BECOME a Tour Guide? The Ski Village! So head over to the Ski Village. Click on the pile of candy by the stage and a ghost that looks like THIS should pop up:
Click on that ghost and your little Scavenger Hunt book should open, looking like this.
We're half-way done with the Scavenger Hunt! The next clue says to seek out a snowy slope - obviously the Ski Mountain! So make your way to the Ski Mountain. Click on the pile of candy and a ghost that looks like this should appear.
Click on that ghost and, once again, your book will open up, telling you this:
The next clue reads "Wander into the woods." Easy! Head to the Forest and click on the pile of candy that can be located towards the right of your screen. After clicking on the pile of candy, a ghost that looks like this should show itself.
Click on that ghost and your book should open up (yet again,) looking like this:
Six out of eight candy ghosts! Almost there! The next clue says "Look toward a tower of light." A tower of light? Well, towers are normally very tall... and what's a great source of light on Club Penguin? The Beacon! The Beacon is the top of the Lighthouse, which is basically a tower. So head on over to the Beach. Click the pile of candy by the small stick pile and a ghost looking like this should rise from the pile.
Click on that ghost, and AGAIN your book will open up, saying this:
Seven ghosts! Just one more! The final clue says "Be on the lookout for a boat." Well, where do boats sometimes anchor? The Dock, perhaps? Yep! Head to the Dock! The pile of candy at the Dock is in the way back, obscured slightly by the fence and pumpkins. Once you find it, click on it. The final ghost should look like this.
Click on that final ghost and your book will open up, finally allowing you to claim your prize!
Click the "Claim Prize" button and this should appear on your screen.
